OUR CLINIC
The Cat & Bird Clinic is a veterinary practice limited to the care of cats and birds. The Cat & Bird Clinic was opened in July of 1992. Our dog-free clinic provides a calm, quiet environment for your pets. Due to our focus on cats and birds, you will find the medical expertise necessary to meet the particular physiological and medical requirements of these unique species.
Our Mission is to provide excellent veterinary care, utilizing only the most necessary diagnostics and treatments that will ultimately provide the best quality of life for each individual pet.

Our Services
WELLNESS EXAMS
​
Bringing your pet in for an annual wellness checkup can help reassure you that your cat or bird is healthy, diagnostic tests may be indicated to detect hidden diseases or conditions early on.
VACCINATIONS
We offer non-adjuvant 1 year Rabies, Luekemia and Distemper Vaccinations for your cats. By keeping your pets up to date on vaccinations you ensure their health and also their ability to be boarded in case of an emergency or upcoming vacation.
DIAGNOSTICS

Our in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and digital x-ray system combined with our knowledgeable staff enables us to provide your pet with the best treatment and diagnostics available.
MICROCHIPPING
To ensure your pet is able to be identified in the unlikely case of getting separated, we offer both domestic and international AVID microchipping for your cat or bird.
AVIAN COELOMIC ULTRASOUND
​
Using our in-house ultrasound system our avian veterinarians are able to do an ultrasound birds coelom (belly) to help guide them in making a diagnosis and treatment plan appropriate for your pet.
AVIAN GROOMING
For our avian patients we offer nail, beak and wing trims with our avian Veterinarians. We are unable to offer any feline grooming services at this time.
AVIAN ECHOCARDIOGRAM

Using our in-house ultrasound system our avian veterinarians are able preform an echocardiogram (cardiac assessment) on your bird, allowing them to diagnose and treat various cardiac conditions.
DENTAL CARE
If you are wondering if your pet's oral health could benefit from a dental cleaning or tooth extraction, schedule an appointment for your doctor to assess if a dentistry would be beneficial.
PRESCRIPTION FOOD
We recommend and carry both Hill's Prescription Diet and Royal Canin Veterinary Diet feline products. Prescription foods are available for purchase if prescribed by your veterinarian.
